About me

Hello!

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at University of Florida. I am currently working as a graduate research assistant under the guidance of Dr. Sivaramakrishnan (Siva) Srinivasan. My PhD dissertation focuses on extracting travel behavior (e.g. money value of travel time) from artificial neural networks.

My interest lies in data driven decision making, which includes –

  • Data modelling – Discrete choice analysis and artificial neural networks
  • Data analytics
  • Data visualization

During PhD, I got opportunity to work with wide spectrum of projects and different types of datasets. I also got opportunity lead few research projects and have been part of some from conceptualization stage till the end. I have shown ability to work independently with minimal and also worked in multidisciplinary

I also enjoy teaching. I am the instructor for an ongoing graduate course – Discrete Choice Analysis in the spring semester. I was also the teaching assistant for the same course in the last spring semester, 2021.

Apart from research, I enjoy biking, playing tennis and volleyball.
